Born in New York City and raised in Mexico City, I’ve channeled my unique cultural perspective along with my love for design, pop culture, and social media into a rewarding career in marketing. After graduating from Fordham University with a BA in Communication and Media Studies, I've had the opportunity to work in various marketing roles, where I've contributed to the creative process and helped develop engaging strategies and stories that resonate with audiences. Creative Direction
Shifted the narrative focus to celebrate the legacy of past winners, reinforcing the prestige and significance of the awards. This approach positioned IDEA as a hallmark of design excellence, attracting a larger pool of entries and enhancing the program's overall perception.

Executed a multi-channel marketing strategy that encompassed organic social, content marketing, paid media, and email campaigns, resulting in the highest revenue from entries in the program's 44-year history.
NYCxDESIGN 10-year Anniversary Campaign
Brand Identity & Creative Direction
Led the design team in creating a special 10-year anniversary logo for NYCxDESIGN. Developed key messaging and oversaw the overall creative direction for all campaign elements, including print advertising, out-of-home displays, and digital marketing initiatives.
Community Engagement
Activated NYC's network of creatives to reinterpret the classic X symbol from the NYCxDESIGN logo. Developed a user-friendly template that encouraged participation and social sharing, generating a wide range of contributions. This initiative generated content for use across multiple platforms, organically boosting engagement and excitement for the anniversary event.
Public Relations & Media
Crafted compelling narratives for the 10-year anniversary festival press kit, emphasizing key initiatives and events. This strategic outreach effort garnered significant media attention, positioning NYCxDESIGN prominently within the global design community and enhancing visibility for the anniversary celebration.

Developed a comprehensive multichannel marketing campaign aimed at elevating IDSA's brand presence and establishing it as the authoritative voice in industrial design. The strategy focused on educating a broader audience about the profession and its relevance in everyday life.
Engaging Audiences with Story-Driven Content
Crafted a compelling mix of content, which included informational carousel posts and the introduction of the "ID Perspectives" video series, showcasing personal journeys of industrial designers from the greater IDSA community.
The National Industrial Design Day campaign achieved over a 250% increase in organic post reach compared to typical engagement on IDSA’s social platforms, with an average engagement rate exceeding 30%.
